January Happenings

After Christmas our family went to my parents house in North Idaho. Todd sadly had to leave after New Years. Elise and I stayed and played with grandma and grandpa Hillstead. We went shopping, hung out, Elise realized her love of eating snow, and went out for yummy food. Then us girls flew out to Arizona to help Aunt Christina while she went back to work with adorable little Tayah. Elise LOVED Tayah. Whenever she saw her she would point to her and if we got close enough she would give her a big smooch! Too precious. After hanging out in Arizona Mom flew with El and me back home to GA. We loved having her around. Elise definitely misses her Grandma.

We also took Elise to her 9 month appointment. She weighed in at 19 lbs. 8 1/2 oz. (70 %) and 28 3/4 inches long (95%). She also had her blood taken and never flinched, what a brave girl!
Elise also finally has enough hair to put it up in a teeny tiny ponytail. I am so excited! She now has two bottom teeth, two top teeth and is working on the top two on the side.
El recently started Gymboree Music and Play and loves it. She loves music, singing and dancing. Miss Liz, her teacher has dubbed her the social butterfly of the group. She always goes around to greet the other kids. Whether it is to pull down the little girl who just learned how to stand up or to smooch the cute little boy who tries to avoid her at all cost. She also makes it a point to sing louder than everyone else in the group, which is hilarious. She has been such a joy to have in our family.
